Live Clean, Live Free

God is calling His people in these days to live clean and live free.  To raise our standards.  Although we are positionally righteous through Christ’s atoning death, we also need to walk in practical holiness in our daily lives. This includes purity in our thinking, being careful in our speech, guarding our eyes, taking every thought captive in submission to Christ.

There is a level of confidence, authority and deep joy that comes from living a holy life.  On the other hand, continuous and wilful sin brings insecurity, passivity and fear of man.  Purity attracts the anointing and favor of God.  Sin repels it.  Sin is always seeking to drag us down and make us less than we are.  It steals, kills and destroys.  It is cancer to the soul. It is toxic to your heart.  It poisons relationships.  Therefore kill sin or sin will destroy you.

God wants us to have clear consciences so that we can be as bold as lions who live as overcomers in every area of life.  Grace is not a license to sin - grace is an empowerment to say ‘yes’ to righteousness.  Be holy as He is holy.
