Peace and Presence

I sense that the Lord wants to speak peace into our souls today. More than that, He wants to impart His perfect peace and banish anxiety.

Our world is turbulent, our hearts are troubled, our relationships are tense, and our bodies are tired.  We don’t need superficial solutions or human wisdom. We need the peace of Christ which surpasses all understanding to penetrate through the noise surrounding us and displace the disturbance within us.

Peace comes from His presence.  It cannot be found anywhere else.  Peace with God, the peace of God, peace from God.

Come to Him. Drink deep, be satisfied, there is unending supply. Soak in His presence, let it saturate you so much that you spill His peace wherever you go.  Don’t rush away.  Don’t be distracted.  Stay.  Remain.  Wait.  Receive.

He loves your presence and wants you to fully enjoy and experience His.  The peace of Christ rest upon you and fill you today.

Isaiah 55:1-2

“Come, all you who are thirsty, come to the waters; and you who have no money, come, buy and eat! Come, buy wine and milk without money and without cost. Why spend money on what is not bread, and your labor on what does not satisfy? Listen, listen to me, and eat what is good, and you will delight in the richest of fare.”

“Therefore, since we have been justified through faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ...”

“Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.”

“Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, since as members of one body you were called to peace.“
