You Don’t Live in ‘Lack’!
Yesterday, as I was driving back from a conference in the west of Ireland, I passed through a little village and noticed that was called 'Lack’. Imagine living in a place called 'Lack’. Why would anyone write that over their community? Imagine telling people, "I live in Lack"
Yet, many of us feel that we are living in 'lack' - a place of not having enough. Or perhaps a sense that we aren't enough, that something is missing, others seem to have more than we have. We can look at our lives and feel inadequate and deficient in so many areas.
The Lord would remind us that he never writes 'lack’ over our lives. He causes us to live in a place called 'abundance', 'provision', 'sufficiency', and 'supply'. He is our Source and in Him we lack nothing. The heavens are open and blessings shower us. We are children of the King, princes and princesses - not paupers!
Anywhere that you feel empty or lacking today, ask God and He will generously and abundantly supply all your needs. Know that in Christ there is always more than enough and you are enough!
