Praying From Imagination

The Bible tells us that God “is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine...” (Eph 3:20). I believe God wants to take us from ‘asking’ in prayer to ‘imagining’.In other words, to allow our imagination to direct our intercession and declaration.When we simply ‘ask’ it’s normally about things that are realistic, concrete and possible. However when we get into the realm of ‘imagination’ the boundaries are pushed back and our prayers become so much wider, greater, bigger, broader and more expansive.

If you can imagine it in your life, you can pray it for your life.

Stop limiting God by praying small prayers. Stop lowering your expectations to your past experiences or disappointments.  Start to dream. Allow your mind to visualize potential and possibility of how things could be.  Write down your dream list.  Declare it daily as if it’s a present reality.  And remember the Bible says - God is able to do EVEN MORE than you can ever imagine!
