Right Thing, Wrong Place
In Judges 6, Gideon was threshing wheat in a winepress because of fear of the Midianites. This wasn’t going to be effective or productive as threshing needed to happen on an elevated area so the wind could blow away the chaff. In other words, Gideon was busy doing the right thing - but he was doing it in the wrong place. Therefore he was never going to get the results he wanted. His fear led to futility and frustration.
Many of us are doing the right thing - we are giving it our all, being diligent, pouring ourselves out, trying our hardest - but we are not seeing the results that we long for or expect. It could be that we are doing the right thing - but we are doing it in the wrong place. This could be because of fear, feeling trapped, insecurity, or the expectations of others - but if you keep doing the same thing the results are never going to change.
Gideon had to come out of hiding and face the enemy head-on to win the victory. Similarly, God is calling you to come out of hiding. To stop allowing yourself to be controlled by fear. The enemy looks much more intimidating than he actually is. You already have the victory. Take that step of courage Mighty Warrior, the spoils of battle are yours for the taking.

Judges 6:11-16
“Gideon was threshing wheat in a winepress to keep it from the Midianites. When the angel of the Lord appeared to Gideon, he said, “The Lord is with you, mighty warrior. ”....The Lord turned to him and said, “Go in the strength you have and save Israel out of Midian's hand. Am I not sending you?” “Pardon me, my lord,” Gideon replied, “but how can I save Israel? My clan is the weakest in Manasseh, and I am the least in my family.” The LORD answered, “I will be with you, and you will strike down all the Midianites, leaving none alive.”
