In Genesis 1, before creation, we are told that the Spirit of God hovered or brooded over the darkness and chaos. It was only when God spoke, that the words of God collided with the Spirit of God and a new creation was formed, darkness was dispelled, chaos dispersed, life came forth, there was calm and order.

The Spirit of God is hovering and brooding over any chaos, darkness, confusion and disorder in your life at this time. As you prophetically speak and declare the Word and promises of God over your circumstances and situation, that Word and the Spirit will collide and become a potent and unstoppable force. Things will begin to shift, new realities will form, destiny will be realigned, chaos will come into order, darkness will be pushed back, fresh life will burst forth. As a son/daughter of God you were born again by the Word and Spirit. Combined they are the most creative force in the universe. Take time today to soak in the Spirit’s presence and speak what God is saying over your life until what you see comes into line with what He says.
