God Is Talking About You

In Exodus 3, God’s people cry out to Him. God, in response, speaks to Moses about their situation. In other words, they talk to God and God talks to Moses - not to them directly.  It must have seemed that God wasn’t responding to their prayers. Yet, He was already at work without them realising it. Help was on its way.

God is having conversations about you behind your back.  It may seem like He hasn’t heard your prayers or that He isn’t responding to your cries. But just because He isn’t speaking directly to you doesn’t mean He’s not working behind-the-scenes for you. He is positioning people and shifting circumstances, clearing paths and moving obstacles, opening doors and preparing platforms. Even though God may seem silent or distant - know this - He is at work today for your good and His glory.

Exodus 3:7-10

“The LORD said, “I have indeed seen the misery of my people in Egypt. I have heard them crying out because of their slave drivers, and I am concerned about their suffering. So I have come down to rescue them from the hand of the Egyptians and to bring them up out of that land into a good and spacious land, a land flowing with milk and honey - the home of the Canaanites, Hittites, Amorites, Perizzites, Hivites and Jebusites. And now the cry of the Israelites has reached me, and I have seen the way the Egyptians are oppressing them. So now, go. I am sending you to Pharaoh to bring my people the Israelites out of Egypt .”
