Goodbye Weariness

In recent days the enemy has been attacking God's people with weariness, constant tiredness, exhaustion and lack of motivation. He knows that when we are tired, we are at our most vulnerable. Our defences are down and our emotions are raw. Our relationships can be affected and our minds infected with negativity, irrational thoughts and insecurity. We can even look for comfort or stimulation in all the wrong places.

We need to actively, intentionally and aggressively take control of the battle for our minds and emotions. We must consciously take every thought captive and make it obedient to Christ. We must saturate our minds with the Word of God, daily declaring over our lives our identity in Christ. We rebuke and cast down anything that is contrary to what God says about us or contradicts what He has promised for us. His Word has the power to dismantle and destroy every assignment of the enemy. Command tiredness and weariness to leave in Jesus' name. Know that that it's not by might and not by power - but by his Spirit.

2 Corinthians 10:4-5

“The weapons we fight with are not the weapons of the world. On the contrary, they have divine power to demolish strongholds. We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ.”

Zechariah 4:6

“So he said to me, “This is the word of the Lord to Zerubbabel: 'Not by might nor by power, but by my Spirit,' says the Lord Almighty.”

1 Peter 5:8-9 NIV

“Be alert and of sober mind. Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour. Resist him, standing firm in the faith, because you know that the family of believers throughout the world is undergoing the same kind of sufferings.”

1 Corinthians 2:16

“...we have the mind of Christ.”

Philippians 4:7

“And the peace of God, which And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.“
