Spiritual Sight

At this time we need to ask the Lord for “spiritual sight’ - the ability to see and discern the invisible realm and interpret events from Heaven’s perspective. There is so much going on around us that could cause us to be confused and overwhelmed, yet the Sovereign Lord and His angelic host are at work in the midst of what looks like chaos and disorder. Of course the enemy is always trying to infiltrate and influence, but we should not fear because those who are for us greatly outnumber and overpower those who are against us.

As the Lord opens our eyes, the truth will become clear, motives will be exposed, hearts will be revealed and there will be vindication for those who have stood on the side of righteousness.

The days of “business as usual“ for God’s people are long gone. As in the days of Elijah, the battle is increasing and intensifying, the dividing lines are being drawn, but these are days when the raw, supernatural power of the Lord will be manifested and made known in miraculous and supernatural ways through His faithful servants who refuse to bow the knee and compromise with our culture.  The eyes of the Lord are searching for those who remain true to His Name and His Word.

2 Kings 6:17

“And Elisha prayed, “Open his eyes, Lord, so that he may see.” Then the Lord opened the servant's eyes, and he looked and saw the hills full of horses and chariots of fire all around Elisha.”

2 Chronicles 16:9

“For the eyes of the Lord range throughout the earth to strengthen those whose hearts are fully committed to him.“

Ephesians 1:18-23

“I pray that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened in order that you may know the hope to which he has called you, the riches of his glorious inheritance in his holy people, and his incomparably great power for us who believe. That power is the same as the mighty strength he exerted when he raised Christ from the dead and seated him at his right hand in the heavenly realms, far above all rule and authority, power and dominion, and every name that is invoked, not only in the present age but also in the one to come. And God placed all things under his feet and appointed him to be head over everything for the church, which is his body, the fullness of him who fills everything in every way.”

Revelation 17:14

“They will wage war against the Lamb, but the Lamb will triumph over them because he is Lord of lords and King of kings - and with him will be his called, chosen and faithful followers.”
